Just 'cause it says it is, doesn't make it so 2



Once again, just because there is an accessible sign, doesn't always mean that it is truly accessible. While they did a good job of clearly marking the accessible space, and providing compliant signage this space is not accessible because there is no curb ramp. Here is the violation:

TAS 4.7.1 "Curb ramps complying with 4.7 shall be provided wherever an accessible route crosses a curb.

Just because there is an accessible sign, doesn't always mean that it is truly accessible. There are two violations here:

1) TAS 4.30.6 " signs shall be installed on the wall adjacent to the latch side of the door";

2) TAS 4.13.9. "Handles, pulls, latches, locks, and other operating devices on accessible doors shall have a shape that is easy to grasp with one hand and does not require tight grasping, tight pinching, or twisting of the wrist to operate".

Change to AB Project Registration Form

TDLR has revised all AB Online Confirmation Pages and the AB
Project Registration Form (PRF) by removing all requirements for
signatures. Effective immediately, signatures are not required on an AB Online Confirmation Page or an AB Project Registration Form (PRF).
